FCO Services wins at the RAD Awards 2014

FCO Services has won a top recruitment advertising award for their ‘Property Management with a Twist‘ campaign. FCO Services, a Trading Fund of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), triumphed at the annual RAD Awards in the Best Use of Print Advertisement category.

Their award-winning campaign featured swirling text in the form of a ‘twister‘. The distinctive design was chosen to reflect the unique careers FCO Services offers in the UK and some of the most challenging environments worldwide.

Mark Simmonds MP, Minister for FCO Services said: “Nominations for these awards are highly competitive and it is testimony to the success of the campaign that FCO Services won in the face of competition from both public and private sectors”.

The award was presented to FCO Services and recruitment advertising agency TMP Worldwide by comedian Alan Carr at the awards ceremony in London (Thursday 30 January).

Sarah Cevro, HR Director FCO Services said: “Our success at the RAD Awards is a fantastic achievement and recognition for an innovative and effective campaign”.

The RAD Awards judges commended the design saying: “This was a very brave execution and use of the twister imagery. Combined with simple but effective copy outlining the organisation and stayed with them as an image”.

Trudi Churchward, Client Partner, TMP Worldwide said: “Property Management with a Twist was designed for FCO Services to raise their brand profile and highlight the brilliant work they do all over the world. TMP’s approach was to tell a dramatic, exciting and true story about the Cyclone Nargis”.

FCO Services is currently recruiting for a number of senior engineering and IT management roles. Details of these vacancies and others can be found at: www.fcoscareers.co.uk
